Lulu’s Local Eatery, LLC was established in Spring, 2012 by a husband and wife duo, Robert Tucker and Lauren Loomis (Lulu). After years of dreaming about owning a restaurant together, they found their inspiration for Lulu’s while living abroad in New Zealand and Australia where they worked on organic farms in exchange for room & board. They experienced firsthand how food gets to their plate by learning sustainable farming methods and cooking their meals using the fresh, organic produce that they had cared for and harvested that very same day!

When they got back to the US, they began to realize how important it is to create an avenue for their community to have access to fresh, wholesome, all natural food on the go. After months of research and a emerging food truck scene Robert & Lulu purchased a food truck in Phoenix, AZ and drove it 30 hours to their new home in St. Louis, MO.

After two successful years of roaming STL streets, Lulu’s outgrew their operations, decided to plant permanent roots and opened a brick & mortar space May, 2014. Located in the popular South Grand Dining District at 3201 S. Grand, customers can enjoy their favorite dishes in the comfort of the dining room or vegetable garden patio.

The Lulu’s team is so excited to share their food in a way that's fun and accessible.
